Managing Filters

After a Query has been created, you can modify it at a later date to further customize the view of your data. You can add, edit, or delete a Filter from an existing Query.

Adding a Filter to a Query

  1. Open the Query Management screen.
  2. Click a Query from the list.
  3. Click the Filters tab.
  4. Click + Add Filter.
  5. Select one of the Filters.
  6. Click APPLY FILTERS. The empty Filter displays "0 filter applied".
  7. To set the value for a Filter, click the name of the empty Filter.
  8. Depending on the type of Filter that was selected, enter a value or select one from a drop-down menu.
  9. Click + ADD FILTER.
  10. Click Apply.
  11. Repeat to add additional Filters as necessary.
  12. Click Save.

Editing a Filter in a Query

You can edit a Filter to remove a value or add new values.

  1. Open the Query Management screen.

  2. Click a Query from the list.

  3. Click the Filters tab.

  4. Click the name of a Filter.

  5. To remove the Filter Value:

    1. Click the X next to the value to remove.
    2. Click Apply.
  6. To add a Filter value:

    1. Click + Add Filter.
    2. Select a Filter from the drop-down menu.
    3. Click APPLY FILTERS. The empty Filter displays "0 filters applied".
    4. To set the value for a Filter, click the name of the empty Filter.
    5. Depending on the type of Filter that was selected, enter a value or select one from a drop-down menu.
    6. Click + ADD FILTER.
    7. Click Apply.
  7. Click Save.

Deleting a Filter from a Query

You can remove one or all Filters that are saved in a Query.

  1. Open the Query Management screen.
  2. Click a Query from the list.
  3. Click the Filters tab.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Click the X next to the name of a Filter.
    • Click CLEAR ALL to remove all Filters.
